Iolite faceted rondelles measure approximately 7.8mm graduating to 8.5mm in diameter with a generous 5mm depth on a vitreous luster showing good cut and polish along with a symmetrical rondelle shape. Well matched for tone and these pleochroic gems have a violetish blue, grey and colorless hue depending on direction of view, and the transparent bodies have visible internal characteristics for a wonderfully rich strand of rondelles.
